http://elitistjerks.com/f47/t24537-warrior_arms/Some points of interest:- There is only need for one arms warrior in the raid. Go fury if there is another.
- Optimal group set up: 1) you, 3 rogues, enhancement shaman with Windfury totem, 2) you, 2 rogues, enhancement shaman with Windfury totem, feral druid.
-
Stat priority: Hit 9% (142 hit rating), 6.25% dodge reduction (103 expertise rating, 72 with weapon mastery), strength, crit, armor penetration, stamina.
- Swords are slightly better than the other options.
- Maces are generally the worst weapon, because you don't need the stun.
-
You want the slowest weapon you can find.
- Haste rating is bad for you. AA cast time below 3.0 seconds messes up your rotation way too much.
-
Basic rotation: AA -> Slam -> AA -> Slam -> repeat
-
Best DPS rotation: AA -> Slam -> Mortal Strike -> AA -> Slam -> Whirlwind -> AA -> Slam -> Mortal Strike -> AA -> Slam -> (shout battle/commanding/demo) -> repeat
- Slam should be cast a fraction of a second before the AA swing hits. (Practice with Quartz!)
-
Must-have-talents: Death Wish, Sword/Poleaxe Mastery, 2H Weapon Specialization, Mortal Strike, Blood Frenzy, Cruelty, Imp Demo Shout, Commanding Presence, Improved Slam, Sweeping Strikes, Deep Wounds, Flurry, Weapon Mastery
- If MS/WW would bring you down below 15 rage, you should wait to slam right instead.
- ... but if you are hit/expertise capped and hit hard enough to generate above 15 rage after the hit, use the instant attack (take glancing hits into the calculation)
- If you are affected by bloodlust or similar haste increasing buffs so your slam rotation is messed up, stick with instant attacks and heroic strike for the rage burn.
